' Great band, unique guitar playing, really enjoyed their set' Verden Allen - Mott The Hoople

I saw Glas perform last night for the first time. Wow! What a confident, competent, flamboyant, extrovert yet very tight outfit. They're highly recommended by me. There's a new album on the horizon and it will be guaranteed attention from the GTFM Blues Show.

'Glad that you were able to play with us - I enjoyed your set. Take care and we will meet again somewhere in the not too distant future.'

'Do not attempt to follow Glas onstage .. James is a dangerous man with a guitar in his hand!'

Wales' finest rock and roll band..

Without a shadow of a doubt, GLAS are a great band and speaking as a guitarist James Oliver scares the hell out of me! Having had the pleasure of playing with GLAS a couple of times,  I'm really looking forward to our next collaboration.  They're great guys and cracking players.  Everyone who values live music at its best, should go and see this band.

Great pickin!

It's an album full of paint stripping, raw and uncompromising rockabilly which is doubtless fired by John Fogerty's song title 'Almost Saturday Night'. The trio rips things up as if it's their last night on earth.

They do rock hard and you could imagine Glas surprising a few headline bands and filling plenty of dance floors up and down the land,

slide work is uniformly excellent. It's a mixture of originals and covers, with the opening The Sky Turned Red And My Face Turned Blue the best of the originals, as it ranges over seven minutes, with plenty of time for showing off their musical chops. However, if you wonder what a night out with Glas would sound like then a quick listen to their covers of Dust My Broom, Shake Rattle & Roll and Shake Your Money Maker should give you a good idea. Largely aimed at gig goers, this CD does everything it's supposed to.
